We’re over the moon to report that this year’s Songlines Best Group award goes to Ayom having released their debut album to great fanfare last November. Massive congratulations to Jabu Morales and Alberto Becucci and the whole band who have made such a scintillating record which traverses between Brazil, Cape Verde, Portugal (lusophone countries) with a touch of Italy for good measure. Deserved Best Group award winners and great to see the award going to a brand new group.
