Duncan Ballantyne
Director
Duncan is the founder of Ballantyne Communications and continues to run it day to day whilst also acting as a consultant and arts manager, with extensive experience of campaigning and developing cross-cultural and international projects. The agency was born in 2012 and provides communications and PR services, now very much music focused, and for a range of clients and projects - from labels, agents, artists, and festivals. He co-founded Tiger's Milk Records with Martin Morales, a Peruvian music and arts company, delivers occasional workshops and eats breakfast all hours of the day.

Julia Baker
Music PR Officer
Julia's music background is diverse, much of it experienced in London via Colombia, Brazil and Cuba and studying ethnomusicology. As a music programmer at London's iconic Barbican Centre, she programmed the likes of Balimaya Project, Yazz Ahmed, Luzmila Carpio and Wacław Zimpel, and prior, she ran marketing for Sam Lee's Nest Collective and was part of the Sound and Music PR team. Since moving to sunny Lisbon, she's been DJ'ing, hosting radio shows and making podcasts and would love to go to Nyege Nyege festival.
